Dinner begins at 6 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by Nathan Richardson’s powerful interpretation of Frederick Douglass—a performance that transforms the room with its presence. Dinner is $40, payable at the door with cash or check.

Richardson, a Virginia poet and 22-year U.S. Army veteran, has spent over a decade bringing Douglass’s voice to life, not as an act of imitation but of embodiment—bridging past and present in a way that feels urgent and real.
